FAQ
Insurance questions, answered without the sales pitch
Quotes, credit, coverage, claims and the ticket drawing — the plain answers.
The questions people actually ask
Straight answers, no hedging. If yours is not here, call the office and ask.
Does asking for a quote affect my rates or credit?
No. Shopping for a quote does not raise your rate. It is not reported to anyone until a policy is actually purchased.
How long does the quote take?
About two minutes on the site: insurance type, ZIP, a couple of details, and a way to reach you. The comparison and a call from a licensed agent follow, usually within one business day.
Do I have to switch carriers?
No. Plenty of people come in expecting to switch and leave having confirmed that their current policy was the better deal. That is a perfectly good outcome for us — you know what you own.
What do you need from me to give a real number?
For auto: drivers, vehicles, date of birth and current carrier. For home: the property address, roof age and current carrier. Without those, any number you get is a guess.
Is there a fee?
No. The review is free and there is no obligation. Agents are paid by the carrier when a policy is written, not by you for looking.
Are you only able to write Allstate?
This is an Allstate exclusive agency, so that is the primary carrier we represent, and we compare it honestly against what you already hold.
What if I have tickets or accidents on my record?
You still get priced, and often better than you expect. Several carriers rate prior incidents very differently, which is exactly why comparing helps.
Can I get a policy if the home is older or has an older roof?
Often yes, sometimes with a wind or cosmetic exclusion, and sometimes with a different carrier. Age alone is not an automatic no.
How do I enter the ticket drawing?
On the giveaway page. It is free, no purchase or quote is required, open to Ohio residents 18 and over, and one entry per person.
How do I cancel or change a policy later?
Call (614) 986-0000 or email the office. Changes are confirmed in writing so there is a record of what was agreed.
Still unsure? Call (614) 986-0000. A licensed agent answers, and nothing is signed on a phone call.
